WPIO: We're Property, It's Over

Until today I missed an apparently common business/startup phrase:

WFIO which stands for We’re F#%ked, It’s Over (it’s pronounced whiff-ee-yo).

Amusing WIFO anagram. How about an amusing and meaningful WIPO anagram?

WPIO: We’re Property, It’s Over

I mean that our bodies and thoughts will be made of, embedded and suffused with software, devices, and knowledge that others have property claims over, not that we will be slaves, let alone chattel slaves. But having to pay effectively head taxes to IP owners in order to stay alive and competitive will surely lead to vast inequality and desperation obtaining arrangements we’d consider repugnant, whatever naming their details imply.

Perhaps fodder for a future replace WorldIPDay with WorldIFDay event.
